Village Parks

All village parks are open to the general public from dawn until dusk.
You must request permission from the Village Council to have an event after dark.

Shelter House/Gazebo Reservation:

•  To reserve the shelter or gazebo located in Trail Marker Park, please call 419-849-3031 (8:00am - 4:00pm M-F) for availability.

•  Donations are accepted for use of the Shelter House or Gazebo, and may be dropped off at the Municipal Building during regular business hours or mailed to Village of Woodville/PO Box 156. Please make checks payable to Village of Woodville.

Rules specific to Shelter House/Gazebo:

•  We request and appreciate the cooperation of those using the park facilities by making sure they are left clean. If you have taped or tacked decorations, please remove and dispose of these items. No staples, screws or nails are permitted.

•  Shelter House - trash must be bagged and tied and placed by the overhead door. Gazebo - trash must be place in trash containers.

•  Person/Group reserving the Shelter House/Gazebo will be responsible for all persons in the group using park and shelter/gazebo.

•  Any person/group that abuse the use of the facilities or violates the rules and regulations will not be issued any future reservations, and charges for damages will be assessed.

Village Park Rules:

•  Consumption or carrying of beer and/or alcoholic beverages is prohibited in all Village of Woodville Parks. Note: Alcohol brought to any park is a misdemeanor crime.

•  Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Please discard your pets waste properly.

•  Portable grills are permitted, but must remain outside all structures. No "bonfires" allowed. All cooking fires and fireplace fires must be properly extinguished.

•  No glass bottles may be brought into a park.

•  Amplified music must be approved prior to events by the Village Council.

•  No person shall indulge in any noisy, boisterous, disorderly or indecent conduct, or in any manner disturb the peace within a park.

•  The Village of Woodville is not responsible for lost and/or damaged property, accidents or injuries incurred while using village facilities.
